We’re still pretty amateurish when it comes to growing veg, so it doesn’t fail to amaze me when we see some of the weird shapes our Runner Beans are growing into.

We’ve had a wonderful harvest of beans so far, finding enough to have with at least half of our evening meals during the week, and still having a few growing too tough to harvest in time. I plan to leave these to mature properly, and then maybe I can keep these beans and dry them for seed next year. I’m doing my best to only harvest the smaller, sweeter beans at the moment. I am sure we’ll get fed up of them eventually…

Any Questions?
